USATF Virginia athletes delivered impressive performances at the 2025 USATF U20 Championships, held June 19–20 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Ten athletes from the association competed against the nation’s top young talents, with several earning top-eight finishes and two bringing home silver medals.
Leading the way was
Joshua-Kai Smith

His time ranks #2 all-time for Virginia high schoolers and adds to an already stellar résumé that includes back-to-back Virginia 6A state titles in the 110m hurdles.
Joining Smith on the podium was
Hannah Riolo
