How did you get your start in track & field? 

My parents coached Track for my Churches Club team so I was born into a track family. Also my older brother, Rj, was running so I wanted to prove that I could keep up with him.

You have been very successful in your first 3 1/2 years of high school, what would you consider the two most memorable highlights so far? 

#1 Getting 5th in the championship 800m at NBNO freshman year. I had surprised myself running 2:06and the race itself was exciting. 

#2 winning NBNO sophomore year. I wouldn't consider it the best race but I PRed.

Favorite subject in school? 

Biology,  I love the science subjects 
 

Something unique about you that we might not know about you? 

I sing in my Churches Choir. 
 

Favorite Workout? 

Repeat 400m. They are hard but that's what I love about them. 
 

Favorite Food? 

Does pizza count? If not pastas.

You recently announced you would be attending LSU in the fall. What other schools did you consider? 

University of Georgia  and Oklahoma state 

When it came time to make a choice what were the factors for choosing LSU over the other schools?

I was very nervous when it came to making a choice. I fasted and prayed so I can get more connected with God and really hear what He would tell me to do. One night I was going over some of my LSU research (as usual) and I suddenly felt very excited. I prayed and knew that LSU was the right decision. 
 

Do you know what you want to study in college yet? 

I want to study either Chemical engineering or human anatomy 
 

What do you want to be doing in 10 years?

• Preparing for the 2032 Olympic Games.
• Either finishing or starting my doctorate degree. 
• Working on whatever business i will have.

How about in 20 years?

Being a billionaire philanthropist and starting my shift from mid distance/ sprinting to distance and road running.
