Hayden Second at USATF 1 Mile Championships in Indianapolis

USATF Virginia was proudly represented at the 2025 USATF Masters 1 Mile Championships, held June 21 in Indianapolis, as Dana Hayden of Powhatan turned in a stellar performance against some of the nation’s best age-group milers. A total of 99 athletes competed in the championships.

Competing in the Women’s 45-49 division, Hayden clocked an impressive 5:26 to earn the silver medal. Her time translated to an age-graded score of 84.99%, underscoring her elite standing among masters runners. Scores between 80 and 89 are classified as national-class performances.
