Williams Third at USATF Championships in Albuquerque

Results

The 2023 USATF Indoor Championships were held February 16-18 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Three athletes from USATF Virginia competed in the championships.

Bridget Williams of Fairlawn finished third in the women's Pole Vault with a clearance of 4.61m (15-1½). 

In the women's Triple Jump Makenzy Mizera (Lynchburg, VA; Liberty University) set a season best of 12.61m (41-4½) to place fourth.

In the men's Long Jump Frank Royal (Richmond) finished fourth with a new career best of 7.66m (25-1¾).  His previos best was 7.37m (24-2¼) set in 2018.
