USATF Virginia - Region 3 Junior Olympic Qualifying

OVERVIEW

Due to the ongoing lasting effects of a global pandemic and after careful consideration, USATF Virginia has determined it in the best interest of our youth members and clubs we will not host a Virginia Association Junior Olympic Championships. 

As such USATF Virginia members seeking entry into the USATF Region 3 Junior Olympics (July 7-10; Ashburn, VA) must follow the "Region 3 Entry & Qualifying" procedures found below.

ELIGIBILITY

• All athletes must be current USATF Virginia members 

• Each athlete's date or birth must be verified and included as part of their USATF member profile before the athlete's entry can be submitted. If the athlete's date of birth has been verified in the past and their membership was renewed, then they will be able to submit their entry. Proof of Birth (copy of birth certificate, passport, certified baptismal record, driver’s license or U.S. government identification) needs to be uploaded to the athlete's USATF CONNECT profile.  See USATF Competition Rules, Rule 300.1 (i) for further information.

REGION 3 JUNIOR OLYMPIC QUALIFYING 

USATF Virginia members wishing to be considered for entry to the USATF Region 3 Junior Olympics (July 7-10; Ashburn, VA) must submit an entry here (no later than June 30 at 11:59pm).

• events/meets do not have be sanctioned by USATF for entry marks to be considered
• the competition results must be posted on Athletic.net.  Instructions for uploading results into athletic.net can be found here. If further assistance is required when uploading these results, please email.  
• times must be achieved using fully automatic timing (FAT). No hand times will be converted to FAT or accepted, No time (NT) or no mark (NM) will be placed at the bottom of the performance list and seeded randomly. Overrides will NOT be allowed.
