2020 USATF Virginia Annual Meeting

The 2020 USATF Virginia Annual Meeting will be held on September 13 (2:00pm) at RF&P Park Park in Glen Allen, VA.  
 
The Annual Meeting of USATF Virginia provides individuals with the opportunity to voice opinion, ask questions, and volunteer to support association initiatives that provide improvements to the sport for the members of USATF Virginia.  It also is the time the association elects the officers and sport/administrative committee chairs that work on behalf of the membership throughout the year, coordinating track & field, long distance running, and, race walking, activities, for all ages.
 
Elections for 4 year terms will be held for the following positions:

President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Membership

Men’s Track & Field
Women’s Track & Field
Masters Athletics
Men’s Long Distance & Road Running
Women’s Long Distance & Road Racing
Youth Athletics
Race Walking
Coaches Education

COVID Mitigation information
To ensure we are doing everything possible to mitigate the spread of the COVID virus the meeting will be held in an outdoor park pavilion.  Additionally we are asking all attendees to 1) bring a face covering, 2) bring their own lawn chair, and 3) RSVP if they intend to attend the meeting.  The RSVP will allow us to vet each attendee’s eligibility to vote prior to the meeting and reduce the need for standing in line.

Voting Eligibility and credentialling
Current USATF-VA members meeting the voting eligibility requirement’s outlined within the USATF-Virginia By-Laws and wishing to vote must receive a voting credential prior to the start of the 2:00PM meeting. Eligible members wishing to vote should arrive early (1:00PM-1:45PM) with a PHOTO I.D. and current USATF-VA number to present to the Election Committee providing them time to verify voting rights.
