Teare 5th (5000m), Whyte 6th (100m), D'Amato 7th (10,000m), McArthur 8th (1500m)
The 2025 USATF Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon, saw strong representation from USATF Virginia athletes, with 16 athletes competing over the four-day competition. Four Virginians finished in the top-8 in their events against the nation’s best.
🔹 Cooper Teare (NIKE) placed 5th in the men’s 5000m, clocking 13:27.56.
🔹 Madison Whyte (U.S.C.) ran to a 6th-place finish in the women’s 200m, posting a stellar 22.56.
🔹 Keira D’Amato (NIKE) finished 7th in the women’s 10,000m running 32:19.40; setting a new U.S. Masters record in the process!
🔹 Rachel McArthur (ASICS) placed 8th in a competitive women’s 1500m, running 4:06.99. In the 1st round, McArthur ran a career-best time of 4:04.80. Also representing Virginia with strong efforts:
