Tell us about your Olympic Trials experience in Atlanta:
It was amazing.  The Atlanta Track club did such an amazing job setting everything up.  Every detail was looked into and planned.  Everyone was so nice the whole weekend.   I was very happy with my race.  I went out conservatively and worked my way up.  The wind and hills took its toll on the field and I was happy to pass a lot of them in the last 10 miles.

How did you start running?
I had done some soccer condition in the winter of my freshman year with had some running it.  I didn't mind it, When I got cut from the soccer team a couple weeks a few weeks later, I went out for the track team and just loved the atmosphere and team, my passion for it just grew from there.

If you could have lunch with one person who would it be?
My high school teammates.  We were so silly back then and probably would still laugh at the same dumb jokes and stories.

How about dinner?
Malcom Gladwell

Over the years who would have you found to be the best training partner?
The best partners are the guys and gals who want to be good.  They like to grind just as much as you do.  They hold you accountable but understand when you aren't feeling it.  It was hard to beat my crew of Pat Comstock and Adam Ostot back in College, but my fellow Ragged Mountain Teammates of Thomas Adam, Matt Barresi, Lee Gable and Dave Hryvniak are the best.

Your Role Model?
my dad!

Favorite Athlete?
Kobe Bryant.  His work ethic was just incredible.  His drive to be the best and out working everybody.

What do you foresee yourself doing in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years?
I would like to keep running at a high level.  We will see what my body allows.   I hope to keep the my grandfather's company still going strong.  Probably get some more dogs.
